LaRhonda Spence Shot And Killed On 7th Avenue Wednesday Night; 2 People Of Interest Sought

LaRhonda Spence was shot and killed Wednesday evening on 7th Avenue.

Chaztus D. Whatley, 20, and Eurica Leslie, 28, are being sought as persons of interest in the case.

Just after 8 p.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a call for a person shot in the 3200 block of 7th Avenue.

Ms. Spence was transported by personal vehicle to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Investigators with the Violent Crimes Bureau are working to determine the facts of the incident and will continue to follow all leads.
