The History of Bradley Central Wrestling is a new documentary being produced by Old Town Productions. The film will look back to the humble beginning of the program to one of the most dominate high school wrestling programs in the state. The film is targeted to be release after the first of the year. DVDs of the documentary will be available for sale as a fundraiser for the team.
Wrestling coach Ben Smith said, “We are excited about having our history put together in this type of format.
We would like to thank Ron and Debbie Moore and Old Town Productions for donating their time and experience in making this documentary.”
"We need any pictures and/or videos people may have of wrestlers from Bradley High School. We especially needing items from the 70s and 80s,” Debbie Moore said. Items are not needed with a week for possible inclusion in the project.
Bradley Central High School has won 24 Tennessee State Championships since they started the program around 1975. The first wrestler to ever step on the mat for Bradley was Allan Morris who is the current head coach of the Walker Valley Mustang wrestling team. Many other former Bradley wrestlers became coaches such as Ben Smith, Steve Logsdon, Heath Eslinger, Allan Morris, Jr., Bryant Blackmon, Dustin Catlett, Hank Rains, Andy Morris and many others.
“We would like to thank the many people who have already provided us with pictures and videos. A special thanks to Sheri Vincent and Debbie Moore for the thousands of pictures they have taken for the team,” said Ron Moore of Old Town Productions.
