Rep. Tom Graves, House Vote To Continue Iran Sanctions

  • Thursday, November 17, 2016

Rep. Tom Graves this week voted in favor of the Iran Sanctions Extension Act (H.R. 6297), legislation to allow sanctions on Iran to continue through 2026.

“As Iran continues its pattern of dangerous behavior, the United States must be able to sanction Iran,” said Rep. Graves. “Extending these sanctions will allow the Trump administration to quickly slap sanctions back on Iran if violations are discovered.”

H.R. 6297 passed the House by an overwhelming vote of 419 to 1.
