Geneva Payne Moore, 86, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016.
She was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was dearly loved by all that knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Moore Jr.; parents, Zelma and Robert H. Payne; daughter, Sheila Renee Moore Baker; and siblings, James Robert “Jay” Payne and Junior Lee “Buck” Payne.
She is survived by her three grandchildren, Candi Renee Dowdy, Brandi Nicole Dowdy and Gabriel Morrow; six great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Cecile B. Payne and Gladys “Jimmie” Payne; and numerous extended family members and friends.
A celebration of life service is planned for 7 p.m. on Wednesday Dec. 7 at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2419 Georgetown Road NW, with Pastor Marvin Howard officiating the service. Interment will be private in the Fort Hill Cemetery.
The family will be receiving friends two hours prior from 5-7 p.m.
