Haynes Camp Outspends Jetton In Assessor Race After Candidate Makes $25,000 Loan; Democrat Siedlecki Has $17,166

County Commissioner Marty Haynes wound up outspending Sterling Jetton for assessor of property after making a $25,000 loan to his campaign.

The Haynes camp raised $98,027, including the candidate loan. Other than the loan, Commissioner Haynes reported raising $73,027. He reported spending $87,252 through Tuesday when campaign disclosure forms were due. Commissioner Haynes also made a $1,000 contribution.

Mr. Jetton, former employee of the assessor's office, raised $78,453 and spent $77,997.

No disclosure form was listed for the third candidate, current assessor's office employee Randy Johnston. Campaign officials said it was postmarked in time.

Democrat Mark Siedlecki, who is unopposed in the primary, listed $10,355 in contributions and $6,811 in loans for a total of $17,166. He loaned the campaign $1,200 and $5,611. Most of his contributions have been from out of the county.
