Middle Valley Church Of God Hosts Chili Cook-Off This Sunday

  • Wednesday, February 3, 2016
Middle Valley Church of God will host a Chili Cook-Off this Sunday, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  This annual event is designed to raise funds for the church's Cusuna, Honduras Missions Project.  Middle Valley COG works with other churches to provide a feeding center, medical clinic, and churches for orphans and widows in Cusuna.  This Honduran area is dominated with a short average age which produces orphans and a poverty level which will not sustain a normal life.  During the Chili Cook Off, several items will be auctioned off in order to raise funds for this project.  As well, the group will watch Super Bowl 50 in the Family Life Center of Middle Valley Church of God.  All are invited to participate in this fund raising event for Cusuna.

Middle Valley Church of God is located at 1703 Thrasher Pike in Hixson, and has ministered to the community from this same location since 1946.  It is involved in many community partnerships.  For additional information, please contact Pastor Mitch McClure at the church office, 423.843.1539.
