Ana Moreto Garner of Sale Creek was born on the beautiful island of the Philippines on June 1.  She died on March 10, 2016. 

She was a faithful member of the Church of God. Ana was married to Howard Garner for 53 years. She retired from Signal Knitting Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents, Macaria and Tomas Moreto; sisters, Purificasion Mabolo, Vidala Moreto, and Vicitasion Diola.

Survivors include her husband, Howard Garner; children, Shirley Abubo, Bruce Garner and Ilene Hedrick; grandchildren, Roshel and Rayver Abubo, Mahala, Jakob, Ariah, and Maggie Garner, all of Sale Creek; and many nieces and cousins along with a host of wonderful friends.

The family wishes to express deep appreciation to the staff of Hospice Care Center of Chattanooga for their loving care and attention.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, in the chapel of Legacy Funeral Home with Reverend Emery Layne officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton County Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at Legacy Funeral Home.
