Tommy Lee Fuget
Police arrested Tommy Lee Fuget, 25, for allegedly taking a man’s truck at gunpoint as a means of payment for the money the man owed him.
On Monday afternoon, an officer responded to a robbery at the 800 block of Dodson Avenue.
Stephen Sheldrake advised he was parked outside Red’s Auto Service, waiting on a friend, when the man he knew as “Tom Tom” pulled up and demanded money he owed him.
The defendant, later identified as Fuget, allegedly pulled out a gun and ordered the debtor to give him his Chevy truck as payment.
Once obtaining the keys, Fuget forced Sheldrake to sign a note that said he willingly gave Fuget the truck. Then he drove away, also stealing the John Deere riding mower in the truck bed.
Police arrested Fuget the next day on charges of aggravated robbery.
