Country Star Craig Morgan Headlines Concert At Engel Stadium May 6th For Veterans

Craig Morgan (Redneck Yacht Club, That’s What I Like About Sunday, Bonfire) will be appearing at Engel Stadium on Friday, May 6 at the 4th annual American Dream Concert to benefit the Veterans Entrepreneurship Program at UTC. The Krystye Dalton Band will open the evening, followed by a brief presentation of the Colors and a few words by military dignitaries. Craig Morgan will finish out the evening with a full concert.

Doors open at 6 p.m., Krystye Dalton Band goes on at 7 p.m., Presentation of the Colors is at 7:45 p.m., and Craig Morgan takes the stage at 8 p.m. Tickets are available at many area CircleK/Kangaroo stores and online at http://www.riverbendfestival.com/american-dream. Tickets are just $20 and proceeds go to benefit the VEP veteran’s program at UTC. Tickets will also be available at the Engel Stadium gate.

The VEP at UTC assists veterans prepare for civilian business world life. VEP is free to eligible veterans who are selected for the program. Travel expenses, lodging, and meals for the Phase II "boot camp" are provided at no cost to each veteran.

Before his rise to Country music stardom, Craig Morgan spent 9 years in the U.S. Army, followed by 6 years in the Army Reserves. He has performed for troops all over the world. He received a USO Merit Award for his support of U.S. troops. He has had seven top 10 hits and nine albums.

The Krystye Dalton Band is a Chattanooga based band that features Krystye Dalton on vocals and rhythm guitar, local guitar wizard Tyler Southern on lead guitar, Cody Bunch on Bass Guitar, and Demarland Dean on drums. Her sound is best described as roots rock mixed with some down home soul. Like Craig Morgan, the Krystye Dalton Band often plays benefits for good causes.
