Robert Jerome Green, 74, of Whitwell, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Holloway and Walter Clay Green; sister, Mary Francis; and brothers, Clark, Lloyd, John, Harry, William “Pistol” and David Green.
Mr. Green was retired Iron Worker Local 704 and a United States Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Reta Rose Green; children, Robbie & Cathy Green and Jimmy Dale Green both of Lebanon, TN; brother, Dewey Green of Kokomo, IN; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Justin, Dirk, Holly, Hannah, Stephen and Richelle; and four great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Scarlett, Brylie & Jaxson.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Griffith Creek Cemetery with military honors provided by the Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
Family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, April 22, from 9 a,m.-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 23 and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Sunday, April 24.
