Dalton Police Investigating Jewelry Theft At Walmart

The Dalton Police Department is seeking information on a man who stole more than $600 worth of earrings from Walmart Friday morning.

Investigators are hoping that someone will recognize surveillance pictures of the suspect.

The incident happened at approximately 3 a.m. at the Shugart Road Walmart. A white male suspect entered the store and went directly to the jewelry counter which was not attended by a store employee. The suspect broke into the counter and filled his pockets with earrings, worth $634. The suspect was then recorded on store surveillance wandering around the store for approximately 15 minutes before leaving. He left in what appeared to be a silver Toyota sedan with Army decals on the back windshield.

The suspect is a while male with close cropped brown hair and glasses. He wore jeans, sneakers, and a black jacket into the store.
