Cast Iron Cooking Class To Be Offered April 19

A cast iron cooking class will be held on Tuesday, April 19 from 1-3 p.m. or 6-8 p.m. at University of Tennessee Extension, 6183 Adamson Circle in Chattanooga.

The class is free.  Registration is required by calling 855-6113. Space is limited, so interested attendees are asked to not reserve space unless they are sure they can attend. "Please call us immediatley if you reserved a space and cannot attend," officials asked.

The class includes:

• Learn to clean, season & refurbish cast iron cookware;

Directions: Take Hwy 153 N. toward Chickamauga Dam to Bonny Oaks exit. Traveling south on Hwy 153, take 2nd Bonny Oaks exit (Bonny Oaks East). Turn right at the end of the exit ramp and continue to the 3rd traffic light. Turn right on Adamson Circle. Look for a gray and blue wood sign at the traffic light. Go to the first building on the right (two-story beige brick building). Enter the door with a blue awning. Take the elevator to the third floor. the class is located in front of the Tag and Title satellite office and UPS.
