8 Candidates Vie For Hamilton County School Interim Superintendent

Eight candidates, including current Interim Supt. Dr. Kirk Kelly, have applied to be interim superintendent of the Hamilton County Schools.
 
The applicants include Jill Levine, longtime principal at Normal Park Museum Magnet School.
 
Shaun Sadler, former Marine Corps colonel, also applied.
 

Yashika Ward, a Chattanooga Housing Authority manager, is an applicant.

Others include Robert Christensen, a retired professor at Oklahoma State University; Dwight Mayberry, program director at the Mayberry Afterschool Learning Centers; Robert Purifico, CEO of We R C3, Inc., and Bobbie Floyd, leasing consultant at Steeplechase Apartments.
 
School Board Chairman Jonathan Welch said, "The board will discuss these candidates and process at our work session on April 14."
