Georgia Department Of Labor To Help Vanguard Recruit Employees In Dade County

The Georgia Department of Labor will help Vanguard National Trailer recruit a number of employees for its new manufacturing facility set to open in August in the Dade County Industrial Park in Trenton. The company will manufacture semi-trailers.

The recruitment will be held Wednesday, May 18, from 3-7 p.m. at the American Legion Post No.
106 located at 13205 North Main St. in Trenton. GDOL staff will be on site to help screen applicants


The company will be recruiting for the following positions: accounting manager, assembly-line associate, human resources manager, manufacturing supervisor, maintenance associate, production support engineer, purchasing/buyer agent, and senior human resources generalist.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED). The accounting manager must also have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, while the human resources generalist must hold a bachelor’s degree.

The level of experience for the production workers ranges from three months for the assembly-line workers to four years for the maintenance associates.
