Tiffanie Robinson will be running for the District 4 seat on the Hamilton County School Board. Ms. Robinson is originally from Florida and settled in Chattanooga to raise her children, who will attend school in the district.
She is a graduate of Lee University with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Advertising. She has been actively involved in the local business community, and works at Lamp Post Properties.
Ms. Robinson said that student success should not be defined by zip-code or socioeconomic status, but rather a willingness to learn. She says this is a great time for change in the community and our schools.
She has released for campaign platforms: improved transparency and accountability, increased community involvement, and system-wide equity. Creating a transparent superintendent search process, implementing the community schools model, performing a review of the budget, and investigating cluster-school zoning are among her goals.
