“Broadway At The Tivoli" Series Set With 5 Plays

  • Thursday, May 5, 2016

The Tivoli Foundation in the 2016-2017 season will present a five-title Broadway Season at the Tivoli Theatre called “Broadway at The Tivoli.” The full season announcement, along with the five-title reveal, will be announced Thursday, Aug. 18, and season subscriptions go on sale Monday, Aug. 22

Tivoli Foundation Board Chairman Keith Sanford said, “The Foundation is thrilled about the inaugural Broadway season. The season will bring consistently high-level talent and will introduce many to the world of professional theater. In turn, this will help generate interest in other local productions from our local companies. It's an exciting new addition to our already vibrant cultural and arts scene here in Chattanooga.”

Season packages will be available, and package subscribers will enjoy benefits including early announcement information, premium seats secured from year-to-year with package renewal, reduced fees for subscriptions compared to single-ticket purchases, and more.

Officials said, "The Tivoli Foundation is committed to bringing diverse, high-quality entertainment and the best of Broadway to Chattanooga. The Foundation is particularly excited about the Broadway Season Series as it will invite the Chattanooga community and surrounding areas to downtown to enjoy the great restaurants, markets, shops, and all downtown has to offer in the heart of our wonderful city.

"Stay tuned for more details about the upcoming Broadway Season Series at the Tivoli Theatre."
