Lois Atkins
Lois L. Atkins, 83, of Ringgold, Georgia, died on Friday, June 24, 2016.
She was the daughter of the late Bud and Ruby Long. Lois was an avid golfer having shot multiple holes in one. She was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Freeman Atkins, of Ringgold, son, Bobby (Marie) Atkins, of Loganville, GA, daughter, Pamela (Ray) Mitchell, of Ringgold, five grandchildren, Amy Harden, Kelley Lee, Adam Atkins, Justin Mitchell, Jennifer Mitchell, and eight great-grandchildren, Abbi, Anna, Jadon, Juel, Britton, Kensley, Katelyn and Eric.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. F. Bobby Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 11 a.m.–1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, at the funeral home.
