Kaylor, Larry Franklin (Cleveland)

Larry Franklin Kaylor, 70, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at his home. 

He was born on Jan. 22, 1946 in Benton, TN to the late Franklin Kaylor & Rena Trewhitt. He was an honorable discharged veteran of the United States Army. Larry served many years in Polk County Florida in Law Enforcement prior to his retirement back to TN. He held the title as largest recorded catfish catch weighing in at 85 pounds. He also in addition to his fishing enjoyed hunting. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Thurman. 

He is survived by his children, Jeffrey Kaylor, Rena Kaylor, Angela Kaylor and Justin Kaylor; six grandchildren; several siblings; and numerous other extended family members.

A graveside service is planned for Friday, July 1 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery and will conclude with military honors. 

Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
