Anthony Davis
Anthony Lamar Davis, 59, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, June 5, 2016 in a local hospital.
He was a 1974 graduate of Riverside High School. He was an entrepreneur in the janitorial industry. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Belknap (CG-26).
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna; sister, Johnnie Davis; brothers, Thomas Davis and Clifford Davis; daughter, Angelica Castro.
Survivors include his daughters, LuCrystal (Calvin) Dallas, LaHona Lattimore, and LaTanya Lattimore; seven grandchildren, all of Chattanooga; brothers, James (Annette) Mathis, Eddie Davis, and Melvin (Linda) Davis; sisters, Betty Ann (John) Gordon of Commerce, GA, and Hattie Buchanan Lawrence of Chattanooga; uncle, Reverend Roy Tramble of Athens, GA; aunt, Bernice Harris of Commerce; lifetime friends, Greg Toney, Regina Lattimore, and Curtis Watkins; a host of nieces, nephews, other friends and relatives.
Visitation will be on Friday, June 10, from 6-7 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, June 11, at 3 p.m. in the chapel with Pastor Alfred Johnson as the eulogist.
