Van Going Wrong Way Slams Into Semi On I-24 Near I-59 Split

A van driving the wrong way on I-24 West in Dade County, Ga., collided with a tractor-trailer on Friday morning.

The driver of the van was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.

The accident near the split with I-59 caused the semi to topple over.

All lanes were initially closed at the wreck site, but one lane was open by 7 a.m.
