Soddy Daisy Starting $5 Million Dayton Pike Improvements

Soddy Daisy is starting $5 million in improvements on a section of Dayton Pike.

This project is a turn lane extension and intersections improvement project on Dayton Pike.  It starts at Fire Hall Number 3 and ends at Pottery Lane.

The project will include an improvement to the intersection at Harrison Lane/Dayton Pike with a new traffic signal being installed there as well.  

The cost is approximately $5 million, of which 20 percent will be paid by the City of Soddy Daisy.

 The funds are Federal Highway Administration Funds that pass through TDOT then to Soddy Daisy.
