Former East Ridge Vice Mayor Jim Bethune Picks Up Papers To Run For City Council

Former East Ridge Mayor Jim Bethune is among those picking up papers to run for the East Ridge City Council in the November general election. He has qualified for the race.

He earlier lost a bid for mayor to incumbent Brent Lambert.

Others picking up for East Ridge City Council include Matthew DeGlopper, Joe Dillard, Esther Helton, Doris Rogers, Robert Stahl and Brian Williams. Ms. Helton, Mr. Stahl and Mr. Williams have qualified.

Collegedale Commissioners Debbie Baker, Tim Johnson and Katie Lamb have qualified.

Bill Cannon has qualified for Red Bank Commission, District 2, and Mike Congdon has picked up papers. Incumbent Eddie Pierce has picked up for commissioner at large.

Lance Edwards and Robert Spaulding have picked up for the Signal Mountain Commission.

Bill Layne is a possible contender in Soddy Daisy.

Lee Davis and Thom Peterson picked up for Walden Commission and Bill Trohanis for Walden mayor. Mr. Trohanis has qualified.

Picking up for Lakesite Commissioner are David Howell, John McPherson and Bill Neighbors. Mr. McPherson has qualified.
