Chattanooga Heroes Run/Walk Raises $15,000 For The Fallen Five Memorial

  • Friday, July 29, 2016

The Chattanooga Heroes Run/Walk raised $15,000 for the Fallen Five memorial, Erlanger Health System President and CEO Kevin M. Spiegel, along with City Mayor Andy Berke and County Mayor Jim Coppinger, announced.

At the request of the families of Chattanooga’s fallen heroes, funds from the event will be used to build a permanent memorial for the five men who lost their lives last July.

This first-year event sold out three days before the run, with participants from 20 states registered – from California to Maine to Florida, and thousands of spectators lined the five-mile course.  Over 120 volunteers also helped to make the event a success.

The planning committee thanks everyone who supported this event either as a volunteer, donor, spectator or participant and look forward to doing it again next year!
