Pete Hegseth Is More Qualified For President

  • Monday, July 4, 2016

I have just watched Pete Hegseth previewing his book, "In The Arena," before a group at The Heritage Foundation.  He is no stranger to Fox News since that is where I first was introduced to him and became interested in his political positions and of course his status as a first-class military vet.  In my opinion, Mr. Hegseth is better qualified to lead this country than any of the 20 (if not now 21) who have publicly announced their candidacy for the position of president.

Please do what you can to promote Mr. Hegseth for the people to learn who he is and what he views as the requirements necessary to bring our country back to the people and the Constitution.  He follows my philosophy of being an FDR Democrat and supporter through my long lifetime (82 years) but more recently dipping somewhat into Reagan's political positions and attitude.  When combined, these views have driven me into the Republican party under the Obama administration.

At this critical time in my life, I cannot support anyone who is running for that high office.  I foresee disaster in the offing.  Voting for any of those still in the running would be similar to jumping into a black hole in search of God.  I would not make that jump unless I knew for a fact what was in that hole and where it would lead.  I see no light at the end of a tunnel anywhere in our current government, including the legislature.  Change is critical.
