U-Pick Berry Season Open At Crabtree Farms

  • Wednesday, July 6, 2016

The U-Pick Berry Season is open at Crabtree Farms for blueberries and blackberries.

The berries are available to be picked Monday-Saturday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

Ring the bell to check in at the Farm Stand and then head out to the berry patches to forage fruits. Blackberries are more scant this year due to drought, but the blueberries are in full glory.  The darker the berry, the more ripe and delicious it is, said officials.

Participants are asked to bring water, sun protection and pints/quarts.

The cost is blueberry: $3.50 pint/$6.50 quart and blackberry: $3 pint/$5.50 quart.
