William Eley
William Henry “Bill” Eley, 73, of Red Bank, died on Monday, August 22, 2016 in a local hospital.
Bill was born in Jay County, In., on June 23, 1943. He was born to Martin and Ruth (Evans) Eley in Portland, In. He graduated from Ridgeville Indiana High School in 1962.
He was preceded in death by his father, Martin Eley and a grandson, Austin Stocker. He was a very dedicated and loving father.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Margaret (Jolayne) Eley; son, Mark (Mary) Eley, Chattanooga; three daughters, Rachelle (Donald “Jack”) Warfield, Chattanooga; Amanda (Harold) Stocker, Ft. Recovery, Ohio; Elizabeth (Danny Robertson) Eley, Rossville; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers, Tom Eley, Dick Eley, both of Portland, IN; Albert (Dee) Eley, Dunkirk, IN; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 25, at Chattanooga Memorial Park with Minister Steve Lusk officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:30–7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in honor of Bill to be made to his wife, Margaret (Jolayne) Eley.
