“Betty” Louise Burk McDonald, 87, died on Monday, August 22, 2016 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, after a brief illness.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1928, in Sandia, Tx., to Ernest Everett and Shirley Burk, who raised a family of five daughters and one son. In 1950 she married Carlos Wass McDonald and had three daughters: Patricia Lynne, Sheryl Kristen and Kristi Louise. Louise worked in the health field as a registered nurse.
She is survived by her husband Carlos, three sisters: Nelle, Norabel and Shirley, three daughters and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, at Standifer Gap SDA Church with Pastor Mickey Mallory officiating. Burial will take place in Sandia, TX.
