Joyful Sounds Visits Morning Pointe Of Hixson

  • Friday, August 28, 2015

Joyful Sounds, the Community Senior Adult Choir of Christ’s United Methodist Church in East Brainerd, visited Morning Pointe of Hixson Assisted Living and the Lantern Alzheimer’s Memory Care community and put on a wonderful performance for residents of the assisted living community. The choir began in January of 2012 with six members and has grown to 34!  They sing at community events, nursing homes, churches and other fun filled gatherings.  Under the direction of Willie Kitchens, who once sang with the Impressions, they bless their audience with hymns, spirituals, gospel and contemporary music.

Morning Pointe residents always love listening to this talented group perform.
