COS Office Supplies is continuing its 75th anniversary celebration through its successful “Food Trucks for Food Bank” food drive.  COS sent collection boxes out with its drivers to customers located throughout the region to collect food to meet summer needs. The campaign collected over 8,000 pounds of food providing more than 6,500 meals to those in need throughout the region.

On Saturday, COS team members and their families went to the Food Bank for a work day in further support of the important work done by the Food Bank.
Team members washed trucks, peeled and bagged onions, labeled foods and prepared boxes to meet community need.

“It’s so impressive to see how far the Chattanooga Area Food Bank stretches the resources provided to them,” said COS President Skip Ireland.  “We’ve been fortunate to have support that has allowed us to be in business for the last 75 years, it’s important to us to give back to the community that has done so much for us.”
