Senior Architect David Bryant Joins Allen & Hoshall

David Bryant joined Allen & Hoshall’s Chattanooga office as a senior architect, the firm announced.

With more than 33 years in the design and construction industry and 23 years as a licensed architect, Bryant’s expertise includes building envelope innovations, such as R-20 aerogel insulated windows, passive/active solar design, vegetated ‘green’ roofing, and extends into the forensic investigation and documentation of historic and other existing structures for both preservation and adaptive reuse.  His experience ranges from floating marinas, to master planning of public and private K-12 facilities, from the design of commercial, industrial and religious buildings to the creation of unique private countryside retreats.  

“David’s proficient skill set is a welcomed addition to our team,” said Harry Pratt, president of Allen & Hoshall. “Talent like David’s is exactly what we need as we enter our second century of providing exceptional design services to our clients.”

Mr. Bryant obtained his Bachelor of Science in Industrial technology from Western Kentucky University and his Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kentucky. He holds professional certifications for Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky. Mr. Bryant also is a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards and the American Institute of Architects and has a long history of civic involvement.
