Virginia Josephine Davis, 85, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at her home.
She was a member of Midway Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Floyd Davis, Sr.; parents, Sim and Mattie Shadrick Rogers; children, James Floyd Davis, Jr., Chris William Davis and Charlotte Ann Davis; siblings, James Rogers, Faye Bagely and Beulah Mae Ferguson; and a granddaughter, Sandra Kay Wood.
Mrs. Davis is survived by her son, Bobby (KayDean) Davis and Sammy (Donna) Davis; daughters, Mary Thomas and Daisy Sisk; sisters, Rita Williams, Rachel Freels and Joyce Hudson;n ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT on Friday, Sept. 23 with Bro. Jim Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. CDT, on Thursday, Sept. 22.
