Mary Scott
Mary Lolly Scott, 92, died on Thursday, September 22, 2016.
She was a graduate of Howard High School in the class of 1942. She was a library assistant at Howard and Kirkman Technical High Schools for 26 years. She was a lifelong member of St. Paul AME Church.
Survivors include her children, Jacqueline Miller, Claudette (Edward) Sharpe of Maryland, George Scott, Jr. and Carla Odom; grandchildren, LaShaunda Odom, Kheli (Sara) Sharpe of Maryland and Rhodney (Gerrae) Miller of Pennsylvania; four great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2016, 12 noon at St. Paul AME Church with Pastor Kenneth Love officiating. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
The body will lie in state after noon on Tuesday, Sept. 27, and the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
