Special Event Street Closures For M. L. King Day

Martin Luther King Day of Service: volunteers may check in at 8:30 a.m. at the Glass House Collective near the corner of Glass Street and North Chamberlain Avenue.  Service projects begin at 9 a.m.

Glass Street will be closed between Latta Street and Chamberlain Avenue from 8 a.m.-noon.

Martin Luther King Birthday Celebration Parade: Participants will lineup at 3:15 p.m. at M.L. King Boulevard and Peeples Street (Olivet Baptist Church, 740 MLKing Blvd.) and walk to The Tivoli Theatre (1 mile).
 

The westbound lanes of M.L. King Boulevard from Palmetto Street to Broad Street and the southbound lanes of Broad Street between 7th Street and M.L.King Boulevard will be closed from 3-5:30 pm.
