Lorna Emma Goebel Bueschlen, 90, of Chattanooga, died on Sunday, January 15, 2017.

She was born in Sebewaing, Mi., on Jan. 17, 1926, to Herman Albert Goebel and Martha Oker Goebel.  She grew up in Sebewaing where she graduated from Immanuel Lutheran High School. Lorna and family relocated to Chattanooga in the 1950s where she was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in East Ridge for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Elmer Bueschlen; and her brother, Clemence Goebel of Sebewaing, MI.

Survivors are two sisters, Lenda Bain of Saginaw, MI, and Luella Emery of Detroit; two children, Debbie (Robert) Allen Jr., East Ridge and Pam (Craig) Hawes, Ringgold; as well as three grandchildren, Rob Allen of Flintstone, Alicia Allen Webb of Chattanooga, and Christi Hawes Black of Ringgold; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 822 Belvoir Ave., East Ridge, Tn. 37412, with Reverend Christopher Sheets officiating.

Burial will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or Belvoir Christian Academy.
