Adam Kenneth Levi, 39 of Ooltewah, was fatally shot in his home on Thursday, December 29, 2016.

He was born on Oct. 20, 1977, in Chattanooga. Adam graduated from Ooltewah High School in 1996, and went on to receive an associate’s degree from Chattanooga State, with a brief stint at UTC.  Most recently, Adam worked in the Transportation industry with stops at US Xpress and Lipsey Logistics, among others. At the time of his death, Adam was working with his brother at EverClear Pool and Backyards.

Adam had an infectious smile and a jovial demeanor that was accentuated by his trademark laughter. He was a constant student of life and always strived to answer some of the world's most baffling mysteries. Adam Levi centered his life on his friends and family, and truly never met a stranger. Most recently his daughter, Olivia, had become the pinnacle of Adam's world.

He is survived by his parents, Kenneth Ralph Levi and Susan Adair Levi of Ooltewah; daughter, Olivia Levi of Ooltewah; brothers, Brian Worley and wife Nikki of Chattanooga, Art and Donna Adair of Houston, TX and Gary Adair of Springfield, IL.  A large extended family also survives Adam including four uncles and aunts, a niece and three nephews, and many cousins that include the Griffith, Levi, Worley, and Adair Families of Chattanooga, Memphis, Atlanta, Ringgold, and other cities around the world as well as the entire 1996 Ooltewah High School class. Levi was recently estranged from his wife of six years and the former couple had a daughter, Olivia Levi, 2, the absolute center of Adam's world.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, in the funeral home chapel.  Mr. Levi will be buried at a family plot at Lakewood Memorial Gardens, East.

The family will receive friends after 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, until the time of service at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
