The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team picked up a pair of consolation singles wins at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals today.
Sophomore Niklas Gerdes and freshman Jacob Marshall both won their backdraw matches in Knoxville, Tenn., today. Marshall defeated Purdue's Renan Hanayama (6-2, 6-2) while Gerdes advanced post Belmont's David Faulkner.
Marshall takes on Matt Story of Memphis tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. at the UT outdoor courts. Gerdes follows with a 12:30 p.m.
match against Indiana's Andrew Redding, also at the UT courts.
