UTC Tennis Team Finishes Fall Season At Piedmont Invitational

Thursday, October 26, 2017
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team wraps up fall competition at Georgia State's Piedmont Invitational this weekend.  The Mocs are in action in Atlanta, beginning Friday, Oct. 27 thru Sunday, Oct. 29.

Friday's play is held at the Sharon Lester Tennis Center at Piedmont Park beginning at 10:00 a.m. (E.D.T.). The matches on Saturday are at Georgia State's Clarkston Campus and scheduled for an 8:00 a.m. start time.

"Can't believe the end of the fall season is already here," stated UTC head coach Chad Camper.
"I am very pleased with the team's success this fall.

"In this final tournament, I want to prepare and perform as if it was a dual match. These three programs are very skilled and accomplished, so we need to come out really wanting to compete right away."

In addition to Georgia State and UTC, Purdue and Air Force are also competing in the event.  Be sure to check back to GoMocs.com for a full recap of the action each day.

The best example came on Saturday when a reporter for Campus Reform walked around the Cal State-Santa Barbara campus asking the students ... (click for more)
