Cheyne Franklin Holcomb
Cheyne Franklin Holcomb, 87, of Chattanooga, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cheyne Franklin, Sr. and Mary Emma Holcomb; first wife, Barbara Jean Holcomb; second wife, Mary Darlin Holcomb; son and daughter-in-law, David and Beckie Holcomb; and his siblings, Gene Holcomb, Charles L. Holcomb, John Holcomb, Shirley Watkins, and Margaret “Billie” Martin.
Survivors include his son, Timothy “Tim” (Pat) Holcomb; grandchildren, Benjamin (Terrah) Holcomb; Matthew (Jericka) Holcomb; Noah (Nikki) Holcomb; great-granddaughter, Tenlee Holcomb; step-children, Jeff Wilson, Scott Wilson and Wendy Starnes; step-grandchildren, Ryan and Devin Starnes; siblings Laura Sandor and Jim (Susan) Holcomb.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9, in the North Chapel with Dr. Doug Plumlee and the Reverend Grady Cooper officiating. Interment will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends before the service on Monday, from 12-2 p.m. at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 5401 Highway 153.
