Benjamin Franklin Brown, Jr., 66, passed away on November 8, 2017, while a patient at Woodland Terrace Nursing Home.

Prior to his illness, he drove a cab for Westside and United Cab Companies.

He is survived by his daughter, Keosha Talley; grandson, Ke’Marrus Warren; three brothers, Willie L. Brown, Sr., Willie E. Brown (Chedalia Ann) and Anthony J. Brown; sisters, Lucy M. Ezell and Yvonne (Jefferey) Miller; two grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The body will lie in state on Wednesday, Nov. 15, after noon.

Services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 16, at Prospect Baptist Church at 1 p.m. with Pastor J. Trimble officiating. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.

Arrangements are by John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
