Roger Giles
Roger Eugene Giles, 77, of East Ridge, went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
Roger was born on May 20, 1940, in Harriman, Tn. He was a longtime resident of the East Ridge area. Roger retired from U.S. Pipe. He was a member of The Crossing Chattanooga.
Roger is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley Giles; son, Jeff Giles; daughter, Cathey (Dallas) Whicker; grandson, Brandon (Kate) Whicker; granddaughter, Olivia Nicole (Nick) Pope; great grandchildren, Tagan Whicker, Gevi Whicker, and Conrad Pope.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 16, and 11 a.m.-12 p.m. on Friday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service for Roger will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, at the North Chapel with Pastor Terry Harris officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
