City COO Maura Sullivan Is Finalist For Austin City Manager

Maura Black Sullivan, city of Chattanooga chief operating officer, is one of six finalists for city manager of Austin, Tex.

Ms. Sullivan earlier made the top five for Dallas city manager, but another finalist was selected.

She previously was interim executive director of the Memphis Housing Authority.

Other finalists include Howard Lazarus, former director of public works for Austin who is city administrator for Ann Arbor, Mich.; Denise Roth, senior advisor for WSP/Parsons Brinckerhoff global engineering and professional services organization and former U.S.

General Services administrator;  Scott Kubly, director for the Seattle Department of Transportation; Cecil House, attorney who leads the Gilbane Building Company's New York City office, and Spencer Cronk, Minneapolis city coordinator.
