A man who was arrested on Friday for his 14th DUI will be kept in jail over the weekend.

Edward Wayne Shumacker, 52, will be held without bond until he sees a judge on Monday morning.

Shumacker's maroon Volvo was stopped by an officer checking a registration violation on Lee Highway.

A strong odor of alcohol came from inside the vehicle.
