Chattanooga State Students Inducted Into Phi Theta Kappa Chapter

Phi Theta Kappa is the international academic honor society for two-year colleges. Chattanooga State’s PTK chapter Alpha Beta Mu recognizes and encourages academic accomplishments among its students. Students must be invited to the chapter by having completed at least 12 college credit hours and have a minimum cumulative college-level GPA of 3.5. Upon membership, students are required to maintain a 3.2 college-level overall GPA.

Mother Of 15-Year-Old Killed By His Father Said McElrath Had Been Acting "Manic"

The mother of a 15-year-old boy who was killed by his father said Michael McElrath had been acting "manic" in the days leading up to the tragic incident in Hixson on Aug. 18. Fire Causes $250,000 In Damage To Home On Signal Mountain
