James “Jimbo” Muncy, Jr., 58, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 in a Chattanooga hospital.
He was a welder and mechanic with A1 Automotive. James was of the Church of God faith. He loved his family and enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, dirt car racing and the Tennessee Vols.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Muncy, Sr.; and nephew, Logan Smith.
Survivors include his mother, Hazel Ferettino Muncy; three sisters, Rebecca Muncy, Cookie Ledford and Tina Mickel; nieces and nephews, Chris Ledford, Jason (Amy) Ledford, Matt (Kristi) Smith, Whitney (Jeremy) Payne and Sommer (Jean) Mickel; and several great-nieces and nephews.
The service will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, in the chapel of Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green officiating.
His family will receive friends on Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the Fike-Randolph & Son Funeral Home, who has charge of the arrangements.
