Virginia Mae Gossett Kiker, 85, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on Saturday February 4, 2017 at her residence.
A lifelong resident of the North Georgia area, she was a former employee of the Eastside Utility District where she worked for 29 ½ years, was of the Baptist faith and a member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #3679.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry and Arrie Mae Hill Gossett.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Joseph Herman Kiker of Ringgold; two sons, David Herman (Rita) Kiker of Atlanta, and Bobby Wayne (Cathy) Kiker of Ringgold; brother, John William (Gladys) Gossett of Alabama; and five grandchildren, Joseph Wayne Kiker, Michael Brandon Kiker, Micah David Kiker, Brian Benjamin Kiker and Stephanie Diane Kiker Poole; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home Wallis-Stewart Chapel Ringgold.
