Hill, Brenda Marte Wray

Brenda Marte Wray Hill, 68, passed away on Monday, February 27, at her home in Hytop, surrounded by her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Reedy March and Carrie Levada Wray; a sister, Illa Dean Newborn; and a brother, Bobby Neal Wray.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmie Lavon Hill; daughters, Benita (Jerry) Parker, Paulita (Billy) Sanders, Cynthia (Keith) McIntire and Crystal (Phillip) Titus; grandchildren, Brandon Parker, Justin (Kim) Parker, Melissa Allen, Heather (Corey) Scarberry, Tyler Bailey, Christopher Bailey, Michael (Sharissa) Bailey, Timothy McIntire, Keri McIntire and Aiden Titus; great-grandchildren, Lincoln Parker, Bryar Parker, Shelby Parker, Tyson Allen, Easton Southard, Kaleah Bailey, and Harper Bailey; brother, Charles (Stella) Wray; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, June Edwards, Linda Brown and Doretha Bailey.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 2, from 5-9 p.m. at Valley Funeral Home, Scottsboro, Al., and on Friday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and the funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Fred Wilks, Glenn Taylor and Michael Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Hytop Cemetery.
