Herbert Arthur Lind, 80, of Decatur, Tennessee, died on Friday, March 31, 2017 at Life Care of Athens.
He was of the Baptist faith and Retired from Dade City Florida Press Newspaper.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Louise Lind; parents, Leo and Loa Lind; son, Herbert Lind; and brother, Leo Ronald Lind.
He is survived by his son, Fred Lind of Decatur; daughters, Carol Anderson of Decatur, Laura Simonds of Decatur; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at the Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. James Staton officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at Bowers Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Mt. View Memorial Gardens at a later date.
