Patrick E. Mitchell, 71, of Dalton, Georgia and formerly of Chatsworth, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise Warmack Mitchell.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Carey and Wanda Mitchell of Dalton; great-niece and nephew, Jackson Lawrence Mitchell and Anna Mitchell; nephew, Chris Mitchell of Atlanta; aunt and uncle, Turner and Joann Warmack of Atlanta; and cousins, Karyn and Pruett Roof, Melissa and Michael Howard all of Atlanta, Marty and Ann Burke of Huntsville, AL, Cheryl and Steve Van Aiken of Bartlesville, OK.
The funeral service will be held Friday, April 21, at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12-1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
