Neomi Azile Lewallen, 81, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Lewallen was the daughter of the late B. Ella Nichols Prock and John B. Prock; and was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Russell Lewallen; her daughter-in-law, Jill Humbard Lewallen; her sister, Clara Anderson; and her brothers, Gene, Jimmy and Bobby Prock.
Mrs. Lewallen was retired from Peytons Southeastern with over 10 years of service. She was a 1954 graduate of Bradley Central High School. She enjoyed quilting and she attended the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Lewallen Lewis and her husband Joe of Kempner, TX; her sons, Steve Lewallen and his wife Carrie Delk Lewallen and Shawn Lewallen all of Cleveland; her granddaughters, Christiana Johnson, Summer Schoolcraft and her husband Randy and Sheena Lewis all of Texas; her grandsons, Justin Lewis of Texas and Joshua Lewallen of Cleveland; her sisters, Bonnie Dalton, Gloria Michaud and her husband E. J. all of Cleveland; her brothers, Charles Prock and his wife Christine and Wiley and Gary Prock all of Cleveland; her sister-in-law, Ella Prock also of Cleveland; and a great host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
The Remembrance of Life Service will be conducted Sunday, April 23, at 2 p.m. from the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel with Reverend Lester Shubert and Reverend Homer Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as casket bearers.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, April 22 at the Jim Rush Funeral and Cremation Services Wildwood Chapel who has charge of the arrangements.
