Boyd Hastings, 75, of Scottsboro, Alabama, died on Saturday, April 22.
He is survived by his wife, Diane (Patterson) Hastings; son, Michael (Pat) Hastings; step-daughters, Jaime Beaty; grandchildren, Morgan Hastings, Luke Hastings, and Jessie Hastings; three brothers, one sister and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd Walter Hastings and Veda (Bellomy) Hastings; one brother, and one sister.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 22, from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, April 23, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Valley Funeral Home in Scottsboro, and the graveside service will be April 23, at 2 p.m. at Pace Cemetery with Reverend Wayne Baldwin and Eddie Carter officating.
